AI Summaries & Tags

Fundament can generate AI summaries and AI tags for applications, helping the team quickly understand and categorize incoming submissions without reading every word.

AI summaries

An AI summary is a concise overview of an application’s content, automatically generated from the applicant’s answers. It highlights the key points and can save reviewers time when screening a large volume of applications.

Summaries are generated automatically when an applicant submits the form. The generation runs in the background, so the summary typically appears in the AI-Generated Summary panel of the application detail view within a few seconds of submission.

AI tags

AI tags are keywords or categories automatically identified from the application’s content. They help to organize, filter, and search applications without manually assigning tags to each one.

Tag suggestions are also generated automatically on submission and appear in the AI-Suggested Tags panel of the application detail view. The team can accept them (Accept Tags), reject them (Reject Tags), or adjust the tags afterwards.

When AI features are available

AI summaries and tags are available when the form has been configured to generate them. This is set up at the form level by the Fundament team; if no summaries or tag suggestions appear on applications, the feature has not been enabled for that form.
