Voting window
Every poll has a start date and end date. Votes cannot be cast outside this window.
- Within the window: Votes can be cast and changed at any time.
- After closing: The buttons are disabled and a “Poll ended” notice appears. Any vote already cast is preserved.
Changing a vote
While the poll is open, a vote can be changed as many times as needed. Simply select a new option; the change is saved automatically and replaces the previous vote.
Once a poll has closed, no further votes can be cast or changed. Contact a person with an Owner role if an extension might be possible.
Privacy & transparency
A vote is not anonymous; it is linked to the voter’s profile. However, other voters cannot see it. Results are reviewed centrally by people with a Member or Owner role after the poll closes.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
For additional account security, TOTP-based two-factor authentication can be enabled:
- Open the Profile (top right in the navigation bar).
- Navigate to the Security tab, section Two-Factor Authentication.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy).
- Enter the generated code to confirm.
After activation, a one-time TOTP code will be requested at sign-in following the magic link.
Profile
The profile also allows changing the display language. Fundament is available in German, French, Italian, and English.
