Template Variables
Variables are dynamic placeholders in email templates. When an email is sent, Fundament replaces each variable with the actual value for that application or applicant.
How to use variables
Write the variable inside curly braces in the template subject or body:
Dear {applicant.fullname},
Many thanks for submitting the application "{application.title}".
The reference number is {application.internalId}.Available variables

{application.internalId} | The internal reference number |
{application.link} | A direct link to the application (portal view) |

|---|---|
{organization.name} | The organization’s name |
Internal fields
If the template is bound to a specific form, that form’s internal fields are available as variables:
{internalField.fieldId}Replace fieldId with the ID of the internal field. Yes/no fields are inserted as yes or no.
System email variables
Some system emails have extra variables that only work there: {link} and {otp} (login link and code) in the login emails, {inviter.fullname} in the invitation to collaborate, and {deletion.date} in the draft reminders.
If a variable is not recognized or the value is missing, the placeholder text is left as-is in the email. Always check templates with the Preview before they go to applicants.
