Emails
Fundament sends emails at key points in the application process: at login, when an application is submitted or revised, for invitations, and for drafts left untouched for a long time. These emails can be customized or complemented with custom ones. All emails share a uniform, redesigned layout with a subject, a body text and a button for the relevant link.

| Sign-in | Every later login (link and code) | The person logging in |

| Application submitted | An application was submitted (optionally with the summary PDF) | Applicant |
| Application revised | A revision was submitted | Applicant |
| New application (to the organization) | An application was submitted | The organization’s email address |
| Invitation to collaborate | Invitation as a co-author (Co-authors module) | The invited person |

| Email address change | Confirmation link to a new email address | The person changing their address |
The content of these system emails (except the email address change) can be customized for the organization under Settings → Email, in the System Email Templates section; see System Email Templates. The organization’s email address and the reply-to address for applicants are maintained under Organisation → Details.
Email templates
Email templates are emails the team creates itself, which can then be:
- Sent manually from within an application or as a batch operation
- Used as actions in automations
Sent emails appear in the history of the application concerned and in the person’s email history in the Applicants address book.
